Development of Monte Carlo (MC) event generators, generation and simulation of MC events, scientific computing, Standard Model (SM) and Beyond SM physics, data analysis and CMS detector operations

Responsibilities

  • Co-leader of CMS Monte Carlo Generators group (of 100+ physicists; Level-2 responsibility in CMS) [9/2020 – present]
  • Development, maintenance and support of Sherpa MC event generator and its use in the high energy experiments at the LHC [12/2017 – present]
  • System administrator of HEPForge at IPPP Durham [2019 – present]
  • Co-leader of CMS Physics Data and MC Validation (PdmV) group (of 150+ physicists; Level-2 responsibility in CMS) [2017 – 2018]
  • Co-leader of CMS MC and Data Production Management group (of 50+ physicists; a subgroup of PdmV group; Level-3 responsibility in CMS) [2016]
