In this talk, I present the results of our simulations investigating the dynamics of intermediate mass black holes (IMBHs) and stellar disks in galactic nuclei. We focus on the effects of the stellar disk on the IMBH's orbital properties, and the impact of the IMBH on the dynamics of stars within the disk. Our findings have implications for our understanding of the Milky Way's galactic centre and potential observational evidence for IMBHs.
