BUSSTEPP 2023 will take place between Aug 29 - Sept 9 2023 at University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom.

BUSSTEPP (British Universities Summer School in Theoretical Elementary Particle Physics) is a long-established summer school aimed at PhD students in theoretical particle/high energy physics and cosmology who have completed a year of graduate studies. Main topics covered in the school will be:

Advanced Quantum Field Theory

Beyond the Standard Model

Cosmology

AdS/CFT and Holography

Gravitational Waves

Axions and Dark Matter

Phenomenology

String Theory 

Lattice Field Theory

The school is free for STFC funded and UK self-funded students. Non-STFC and international students are also invited to apply and will be charged a fixed amount to cover accommodation/meals etc. Total number of places is limited.

STFC students have priority if they express interest before May 5th. After May 5th all applications will be considered.
