Applications are invited for the post of the Director of the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology (IPPP) for a five year term combined with the post of Professor of Physics in Durham.

The 2014 Stirling Lecture will be held on Thursday 4th December at 17:30, in the Applebey Lecture Theatre (W103).

To be awarded to small teams led by senior UK experimentalists and involving more junior researchers to support participation of UK experimentalists in the IPPP Phenomenology Network. Duration 1 year, start date 1 January 2015.  Applications deadline 19 September 2014.

Applications are invited from UK-based permanent academic staff in particle theory and experiment. Clsoing date 19 September 2014. Up to to 6 Associateships will be awarded in 2014-2015 starting October 2014.

Plans for a new £10million landmark building to house IPPP and ICC took another step forward today with the signing of a major gift agreement. Sir Peter Ogden signed a £3.35million donation towards it.
