Agenda

An exciting programme of lectures and hands-on sessions will discuss the Standard Model and its rediscovery at the current Energy Frontier at the LHC:

  1. An overview of the first year of data-taking at the LHC:
    Minimum Bias, Jets, Gauge Bosons and Top Quarks;
  2. Hot topics in QCD and jet physics;
  3. Review of Standard Model candles and their accuracy;
  4. The route to discovering new physics at the LHC;
  5. Simulation tools for LHC physics: Trying them in practical sessions.
