Applications are invited from talented and motivated students for PhD positions in the Experimental Particle and Astroparticle Physics (EPAP) group at King's College London addressing topics in neutrino physics through the T2K, Hyper-K, Super-K, SNO+ and ICECUBE experiments.  The group focuses on addressing the key outstanding questions in neutrino physics: including the search for leptonic CP violation through long baseline neutrino oscillation measurements, probing neutrino mass and nature through neutrino-less double beta decay and searches for new physics with astrophysical neutrinos. In addition to first class supervision on a range of exciting PhD topics in these areas, all EPAP PhD students will receive comprehensive training through the University of London Particle Physics Postgraduate Lecture Course during their first year and access to the NEXT PhD School.

A limited number of funded positions, which include home-student fees and a tax fee bursary with London weighting, are available for starting in September 2022. In addition, we are keen to recruit students through the Kings-China Scholarship Council (K-CSC) scheme and other international funding opportunities (see below for links). We are also very keen to encourage applications from people from groups that are currently under-represented in Physics.
