If your research interest include cosmological scalar fields, and ways to test them, either with cosmological and astrophysical observations or laboratory and collider experiments, we invite you to apply for the above Leverhulme Trust funded post.
This position is to work with Prof Clare Burrage, and forms part of the research project “New Searches for Dark Energy” funded by the Leverhulme Trust. If successful, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse set of researchers in the Particle Cosmology group in Nottingham, and with the closely connected Quantum Gravity and Astronomy groups.
You will need to have, or be close to completion of, a PhD in physics or a related subject area. It is desirable that you have a track record of publishing and disseminating your work through conferences and seminars as appropriate to your career stage.
As part of the application process you are also required to submit a research proposal.
The post is offered on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2023, hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered. To take up this position you will need to be resident in the UK. However, if you are already resident in the UK there is no requirement to relocate to Nottingham.
