Accommodation will be available from a nearby college for the duration of the school. The choices are either St Aidan College (ensuite) or Collingwood College (shared facilities). Both colleges includes accommodation for duration and meals.

Can get direct taxi straight to Durham for approx £40-£50 (30 mins)
Alternativly one can get a Metro from Newcastle Airport to Newcastle central station and then a train to Durham (approx 40 mins)
Quite a small airport, not many international flights available.
Either taxi direct to Durham, or taxi to nearby Darlington train station and Darlington to Durham train service (approx 20mins +taxi)
Direct train from Manchester airport station to Durham (approx 2:40 hours)
Somewhat more complicated, Either take london Underground from Heathrow Airport to Kings Cross (approx 50mins) OR
Take Heathrow express train to London Paddington, and Paddington to Kings cross via underground (approx 30mins)
Followed by Direct train from London Kings Cross station to Durham (approx 3hours)
