Computational Methods for Physicists I

  1. Gain some basic knowledge about usage of computers under Linux/Unix
  2. Get to know fundamental applications of computers in physics:
    • communication (email),
    • information and literature survey,
    • word processing,
    • graphics,
    • computing
Not covered :
Windows and other Microsoft products, DOS etc.
