The IPPP has grown enormously from its foundation in 2000 and now has more than 60 members - academic staff, research staff, postgraduate students and support staff.  We are continually looking to recruit new members - please see our web page for current openings.

A number of internationally renowned researchers with close links with the Institute have been recognised by the University and awarded the title of Visiting Professor. Our activities are overseen by an international Steering Committee which meets every six months to review our research, workshop programme and our progress against our objectives. A major aspect of our research is to support and stimulate the UK particle physics community through an active programme of workshops and other meetings and to boost the ability of the UK to contribute at world-leading level.   To this end, the IPPP maintains close ties with each of the particle physics experiments, see the list of Experimental Contacts
